Our Policy
Welcome to Specialty Professional Services (“SPS”) website. SPS created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its commitment to privacy. SPS will not sell information about you to any mailing list or outside organization or company.
Use of Information
SPS will use the information you provide to assist in finding employment that matches your skills, qualifications, experience and preferences (e.g., location, hours, and environment). Accordingly, SPS will provide information about you to our clients. Once this information has been provided to a client facility, use of that information is governed by the policies and procedures of that particular facility. If you do not wish us to provide certain information or wish to restrict the use of your information in any way, please let us know and we will attempt to comply with your wishes.
From time to time, SPS may send you job opportunities via email or SMS. SPS is the sole owner of the information provided via its web site. However, this information will never be used in ways inconsistent with the manner described within this Privacy Policy.
Job Applicants/Resumes:
When you apply for employment. SPS may collect at minimum your name, alias, email, phone number, Social Security number, driver’s license number, date of birth, physical address, resume, U.S. work eligibility, criminal history, education information, employment history information, self-assessment of skills and qualifications, skills checklist, health records, license and certification information, core competency information, pre-employment drug screening and name and contact information of references from you and from information available as a result of a background check. Should you provide it, we may also collect optional EEO information including gender, disability status, veteran status, race and ethnicity.
SPS does this to complete the application process, to determine your qualifications for different opportunities, to ensure we meet our obligations as an employer, and to manage our relationship with you.
SPS will collect this information directly from you when you fill out an application or onboarding forms. Sometimes you might authorize someone else, like the company performing your background check or assessments, to share information with us.
SPS will not share information you provide with third parties for marketing purposes.
Employment:
SPS may collect at minimum your name, address, phone number, email, gender, age, information for employment related taxes, education transcripts, Social Security number, citizenship information, optional equal opportunity demographic data (gender, disability status, race, and ethnicity, veteran status and information, driver’s license number, I-9 information, emergency contact information, any information you provide when you submit a request under the FMLA or another leave, disability, or benefits law, and any other information you have chosen to provide to SPS.
SPS will collect this information directly from you when you fill out an application or onboarding forms. Sometimes you might want someone else, like your doctor or your previous school, to provide information to us as well.
SPS requests your personal information at these collection points and maintains the information on their server, which will be accessed by SPS only and no other third parties.
Children
The site is not intended for children under the age of 18, and SPS does not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18.
Cookies
A cookie is a tiny piece of information sent from a web site into the hard drive of a user’s computer. Cookies are a standard procedure used by many commercial web sites. SPS utilizes cookies to monitor our site’s use and usefulness. Cookies from SPS can only be read by SPS. IP Addresses:
We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our site. Each time you log onto our site and each time you request one of our pages, our server logs your IP address. Although we log your session with us, we will not normally link your IP address to anything that can enable us to identify you. However, we can and will use IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our rules or terms of service or to protect our service, site, users or others.
Server Logs:
When accessing the SPS website or our servers, we automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. The purpose of these server logs may include information such as your specific web request (page you are visiting), Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser
Site Analytics:
SPS leverages standard web analytics software to collect information about how visitors came to our website and what they do when they get to our site. We use this information to improve the user experience, search engine optimization, and usability of our website. This data is never shared with any third parties or advertising companies.
Privacy Protection
We protect our databases with various physical, technical and procedural measures and we restrict access to your information by unauthorized persons.
ALERTS:
E-Mail Opting Out.
If you do not agree to our uses of your personally identifiable information as we have described
for you, you are not required to provide that information to us. Consistent with this Policy, we
will send you administrative emails regarding your account activity, as well as emails containing
information about our products or promotional offers. You may not opt-out of administrative
emails. However, you may opt out of receiving promotional (non-administrative) emails from us
simply by responding to the opt-out link provided on all email communications from
Specialty Professional Services Corp. You may also contact the site directly at:

our systems. Requesting removal may prevent us from providing some or all services to you.
Text SMS Alerts (if you agree):
1. You have agreed to receive Specialty’s text messages to your mobile phone/device regarding various job alerts and general communications.
2. You understand and agree that the text messages sent to your mobile phone/device may be generated using automated technology. Messages & Data rates may apply. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Specialty does not charge you for sending or receiving text messages.
3. To cancel, text “STOP.” You will receive a confirmation text. If you have any questions, contact Customer Service at 800-863-3666 or email Privacy@thespecialty.com
4. Specialty will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator.
5. Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your mobile phone number, the date, time and content of your messages. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us. We will not share information you provide via SMS with third parties for marketing purposes.
Links to Outside Web- Sites
Certain web-links on our site will take you to other sites which are not under SPS control. SPS provides these links as a convenience and resource. These sites may have different privacy policies than SPS and use information you provide according to their own standards and practices. Also, these sites may change their content, operations and policies at their own discretion. You acknowledge that when you click on a link that leaves the SPS web site, SPS is not responsible for those sites or their use of information you provide. Accordingly, we suggest you view the privacy and other policy statements on these sites.

This website contains copyrighted material, service and trade marks and other proprietary information, including logos, text, software, photos and graphics. You may not modify, publish, transmit, display, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way commercially exploit the content of this website without the express prior written permission of SPS and/or the copyright owner or except as otherwise expressly permitted under copyright law. You acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading any content from this website.
