On Monday, March 22nd, 1993, in a little trailer on the Cross Island Expressway in Bayside (Queens), NY, Specialty Professional Services, Corp. first opened its doors and “booked our first shift” placing registered nurses throughout the NYC metropolitan area. That was 31 years ago today! Today, Specialty is still under the same management and ownership. Congratulations to US! Over the past 31 years, Specialty Professional Services Corp. has grown significantly, having opened multiple offices along the east coast, formed a travel nurse division based out of South Florida, and is currently deploying healthcare professionals to dozens of states and having available assignments in all 50 states. We would like to thank everyone who has made this journey possible (both internal staff and the tens of thousands of nurses placed).
